What is Inflammation?
Inflammation happens when the body’s immune system fights against something that may turn out to be harmful. There are 2 types of inflammation in the body. Acute inflammation is when the body suffers and injury or illness and the body tries to heal itself. Chronic inflammation is when the begins fighting against its own cells, leading to harmful effects on your health.
Causes of Chronic Inflammation
Researchers believe chronic inflammation results in the body being flooded with defense cells and hormones that damage tissues. It is believed that dietary and environmental toxins may build up in the body, turning the immune system on and keeping it highly reactive.

What can I do to get rid of the Inflammation in my body?
To get rid of inflammation in your body, you need to stop eating inflammatory foods like those mentioned above. You should start eating a diet rich in anti-inflammatory foods, such as fiber, fruits, vegetables and teas. The diet I follow is Whole30. You also need to supplement your diet with therapeutic grade essential oils and vitamin supplements. Finally, you need to exercise regularly. I walk daily and do some strength training at least 3 times a week.
